Subject: chilmark community center rental inquiry

I am writing to inquire about the possibility of using the Chilmark Community Center on the evening of Saturday June 17th when it becomes available and then all day on Sunday June 18th.

I am working on a photo shoot in Martha's Vineyard, and we are currently looking for a space to prep the wardrobe.  This involves a large space where we can put all the clothing and then prep it on the models and make necessary adjustments.

I have been informed that generally the space is to be reserved for the use of Chilmark residents and businesses, but I am wondering if there is any way of making an exception for us.  We have a very large crew, and will be spending a lot of money in Martha's Vineyard at various hotels and restaurants.  We have caterers who will be purchasing as much meat and vegetables from local farms as is possible.  In addition we are looking at several farms in Chilmark as possible locations.  Unfortunately, the locations have not been decided upon yet so I do not know where we will be shooting.  Additionally, the caterers have not sourced local food producers, so I can not at this time name any people or businesses who we will be working with definitively.

I am aware that there is a fee for the use of the premises.  In addition to paying the fee I would be happy to make a donation of $1000 to any Chilmark organization that you deem a good cause.

I am happy to provide a certificate of insurance and answer any questions that you may have.

Please feel free to contact me at any time.

Thank you.
